The senior send off is a grand celebration that pays tribute to the hard work, notable accomplishments, and lasting memories of the members of The Hotel School’s senior class. Accomplished guest speakers are invited to offer their insights about the hotel industry to the graduating seniors, all of this occurring in conjunction with fun activities, delicious food and beverages, and special awards. It is the unofficial final time that the entire class gathers together before commencement, which adds a bit of nostalgia to this touching moment.
The CHS NYC Hotelie Weekend is a three day trip to Manhattan that provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the industry, bond with fellow hotelies, and network with Alumni from varying fields within the hospitality industry. The itinerary for the trip includes hotel and restaurant tours, sit down meals with Alumni, engaging industry panels, and fun Saturday night events.
Mr. Adler is an extremely well-recognized figure in the hospitality industry, having received:
-The “Distinguished Alumni Award”
-Named 2007 Hospitality Financial Advisor of the Year by ALIS
-One of the top “40 under 40” business executives in NYC by Crain’s NY Business Journal
-Keynote speaker for HEC in 2010
-A speaker for Deans Distinguished Lecture Series (DDLS) twice in the past
Mr. Adler came to Cornell to tell students his story, time at SHA, professional experience, career advice, and discuss current trends in real estate - asset management and consulting!
