Asian Sesame Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cup of Olive Oil

  • 1/3 Cup of Peanut Butter

  • 1/3 Cup of Sesame Oil

  • 1/3 Cup of Soy Sauce

  • 1/4 Cup of Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup of Rice Wine Vinegar

  • 1 LB of Linguini

 

Preparation:

 

Measure out the olive oil, peanut butter, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Place the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth. Add the sugar and rice wine vinegar. Continue mixing.

 

Boil the water. Once the water is boiling, insert the entire package of noodles, and cook until ready. Once the noodles are finished cooking, place the noodles into the bowl and mix it together with the peanut sauce.  


 

The first time I tried this recipe was during my World Cuisine cooking class in high school. I had the amazing opportunity to take culinary electives, and I took a class all about cooking with chocolate! Here, I discovered my passion for food and hospitality. I also discovered my passion of hospitality through my Senior Experience internship at a Hilton hotel.  Both experiences led me to pursue a career in hospitality and apply to The Hotel School.
